Can you fit the cooker the same day it’s delivered?

Often, yes. Message us the delivery date when you order and we’ll book the fitting for the same day or the day after, so you’re not left without a cooker.

Do I need a Gas Safe engineer to connect a gas cooker?

Yes, by law. Anyone connecting a gas appliance must be Gas Safe registered, and retailers and delivery drivers usually aren’t. An unregistered connection can also void your home insurance.

Can you fit a dual fuel or range cooker?

Yes. Dual fuel cookers need both the gas connection and an electrical supply, which we handle as an NICEIC domestic installer. Range cookers usually need a rigid gas connection rather than a hose, which is included in the price.

What if there’s no gas point where I want the cooker?

We can run new gas pipework and fit a bayonet point where you need it. Send a photo of the kitchen and where the gas meter is and we’ll give you a fixed price. See our gas installation page.

Can you disconnect my old gas cooker if I’m going electric?

Yes. We disconnect and cap the gas point safely from £80, and can take the old cooker away. It’s a short visit and a fixed price.

We Fit, Connect
and Test

A Gas Safe registered engineer fits the appliance, connects it with a new hose or rigid pipe, checks for leaks, tests the burners and sets the flame. Around an hour for a cooker, a little longer for a hob and oven together.

Certified Before
We Leave

You get a written record of the installation and test, the stability chain is fitted, the old appliance is disconnected and capped, and the kitchen is left as we found it.
