What the Customer Needed

A homeowner here in Walsall got in touch because their bathroom needed a complete overhaul. It was tired, dated, and not working well for the family anymore. They wanted everything replaced and brought up to a proper standard. Not just a few bits swapped out. The whole room, done from scratch.

How I Approached the Job

I started by stripping the old bathroom out completely. Once the room was cleared, I could see exactly what I was working with. The pipework needed repositioning to suit the new layout, so I sorted that first before anything else went in.

I fitted the toilet, shower, and sink in the right positions for how the room would be used day to day. The radiator went in to give the room proper heat, which matters in a bathroom, especially through the colder months here in the West Midlands.

Then I moved on to the tiling. I tiled the walls and the floor to give the room a clean, finished look. Getting the tiling right takes time. The cuts need to be accurate, the spacing needs to be consistent, and the grout needs to be applied neatly. I take care over this because it is what people see every single day.

The final part was hanging the new door and fitting the lock. That might sound like a small thing, but a bathroom door that closes properly and locks first time makes a real difference to how the room feels to use.

The Finished Bathroom

The finished room is a proper working bathroom. Everything is fitted, tiled, plumbed in, and ready to use. The customer has a space that functions as it should and looks the part too. That is what a full bathroom installation in Walsall should deliver.
